Today, InstaVR Inc (http://www.instavr.co) will be showcasing its web-based solutions for creating virtual reality experiences on Pier 48 at TechCrunch Disrupt. Tech enthusiasts will be able to view applications created using InstaVR on the web, iPhone, Android, Google Cardboard and Gear VR.
“Virtual Reality is exploding in popularity,” said Daniel Haga, founder and CEO of InstaVR. “Our goal is to give companies a more accessible way to utilize VR to create engaging experiences, enabling them to generate interest from new customers, while simultaneously delighting their existing ones.”
InstaVR allows its customers to take their captured 360 degree videos and images, and make them more interactive. This is done through adding navigation and hotspots, the latter of which can include images, video, text, audio or a host of other calls-to-action. On the publishing side, InstaVR enable companies to one-click publish to a variety of platforms such as web, iOS, Android, Gear VR, Google Cardboard and more. This saves clients time, as they no longer have to create individualized apps for each platform. Post VR experience creation, InstaVR empowers companies to improve upon them by providing both analytics and heatmap overlay technology.
More than 2,000 clients have signed up for InstaVR since launch earlier this year.
“InstaVR allowed us a fast and effective way to reach our audience across multiple platforms,” said Stephen Paul, AECOM’s Visualization Manager, DCS Americas. “We’re very pleased, and looking forward to all the great developments to come.” AECOM, to date, has utilized InstaVR for a wide variety of use cases such as proposals for new clients, creating fire drills for VR Gear, and putting together VR experiences for community development meetings.
InstaVR will also be showcasing its technology at a number of other upcoming conferences including dmexco (September 14 & 15)
